What is MMA.
Mixed Martial Arts or MMA is a full contact combat sport that allows use of striking & grappling while standing and on the ground. One can use boxing, wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, kick boxing, Taekwondo, karate, judo or whatever style you choose.
Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full contact combat sport that allows a wide variety of fighting techniques, from a mixture of martial arts traditions and non-traditions, to be used in competitions. The rules allow the use of striking and grappling techniques, both while standing and on the ground. Such competitions allow martial artists of different backgrounds to compete.
We pride ourselves on a very successful program, using the fundamental training of Muay Thai Boxing, Wrestling, Jiu Jitsu and Kickboxing, and combining it with strength, conditioning and cardio-vascular training that is second to none.
This program is a full contact program and is very fighter oriented. All members are required to bring a mouth guard to every class. We also suggest bringing a towel and change of shirt.
This is a very exciting and fun program with lots of hard work and great drills to take you to the next level of Mixed Martial Arts.

Stand-up Fighting: Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and Karate are trained to improve footwork, elbow-ing, kicking, knee-ing and punching.
Clinch: Freestyle, Greco-Roman wrestling, Sambo and Judo are trained to improve clinching, takedowns and throws, while Muay Thai is trained to improve the striking aspect of the clinch.
Ground: Submission Grappling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, shoot wrestling, catch wrestling, Judo and Sambo are trained to improve ground control and position, as well as to achieve submission holds, and defend against them.
We have a structured curriculum for its courses. This means that students know what they are learning and that connections can be made and developed as the students progress.
Safety is paramount
At MMA Delhi India Our priority is your safety. Learning cannot happen in an environment where you feel harm is inevitable. Sparring occurs when two people feel ready to spar. We take great care to condition our students to be responsive to the strength, skill, and experience of their partners. For this reason, the 100 KG person can spar a 50KG person safely.
Our floor is also matted to absorb falls. For all classes where striking occurs, it is mandatory for students to have full body Protection Guards approved by MMA Delhi India.
Sparring is your Choice
Many schools ask you to learn forms or reach a certain belt before you are allowed to spar. At MMA Delhi India , we think of sparring as a vital tool in your learning and sharpening of skills. If a student is healthy and wishes to spar, we fully encourage them to. Students will be asked to use their striking and grappling skills from kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and wrestling. Martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling on the ground are no-gi (dress), but students may wear a gi (dress) if they feel inclined.
Shorts and a t-shirt with no zips or buttons.
Hand wraps, gum shield, boxing gloves, MMA gloves, head protectors, shin/instep protectors and a groin or chest protector.
